Firi never takes any risk with our customers' funds.
We also secure and insure customers' funds through our partnership with Fireblocks, which is a cryptocurrency security platform. Fireblocks' wallet infrastructure is based on what is called Multiparty Computation (MPC), a cryptographic technology that allows the user to split and distribute private keys across multiple locations, so that customer funds are always protected.
Your crypto cannot be hacked. We store most of the keys to the customer funds cold at all times, i.e. cold storage, which means that they are in no way accessible from the internet or in any way connected to other computers. This is also the safest way to store crypto.

ABOUT FIRI
On 22 May 2026, Firi was granted authorisation as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP). This authorisation is required under the EU's regulatory framework for companies providing crypto-asset services from 1 July 2026.
The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) has authorised Firi AS to provide crypto-asset services under Article 63 of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
Firi AS is the first Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) operating a crypto-asset trading platform to receive authorisation under Article 63 of MiCA.
